Production Process

• Material Preparation: Premium, platinum-cured Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) compliant with FDA and LFGB standards is selected and prepared. Material batches are certified for food contact safety.

• Precision Mold Fabrication: Multi-cavity molds are engineered and manufactured. The core and cavity for the critical umbrella membrane are machined with CNC and finished using Mirror EDM to achieve an optical-quality, flawless sealing surface.

• LSR Injection Molding: The LSR is injected into the temperature-controlled molds. This high-precision process forms the complete valve—including the thin, flexible umbrella and the stem—in a single, automated cycle, ensuring consistency and no flash.

• Demolding and Post-Curing: Cured valves are automatically ejected. They undergo a controlled post-curing cycle to stabilize the silicone’s physical properties and ensure long-term performance.

• Trimming and Deflashing: Any minuscule parting line excess is removed via cryogenic deflashing, guaranteeing clean edges that do not interfere with the valve’s sealing function.

• 100% Functional Quality Control: Every valve is subjected to an automated pressure decay test to verify its sealing integrity at the specified cracking pressure. Statistical samples from each batch are tested for precise airflow rate.

• Final Inspection and Packaging: A final visual and dimensional inspection is conducted. Valves are cleaned and packaged in dust-free bags or according to custom client specifications.
